Powers

• Forge is a mutant, and his mutation takes the form of being the form of genius inspiration. He is able to accomplish inventions intuitively, in a way that few are able to follow. He's not the best who ever was, but he has the ability to do much that others cannot.
• Forge can produce nearly any effect given a week with his lab, and can produce these as a short term plot use with a GM's permission, or a long term permanent piece of equipment that will be listed under Advantages with staff permission.

Skills

• Education: High school, military training, self-taught jury-rigged engineering
• Combat: Army basic training, combat experience in Korea. Use of common military weapons and equipment.
• Engineering: Use of common wood, metal, and electronics shop tools.
• Driving and piloting: A combination of military training, a lifetime living in post-War USA, and trial and error on his own machines.

Advantages

• Wounded army veteran: Legal and social advantages come from this. Also the occasional contact of someone who remembers him from Basic or Korea.
• Connected government contractor: Well vetted, with clearances, and contacts. Having spent about a decade in the Cold War machine gives him a familiarity with the people, processes, and events.
• X-Men: Having 'defected' to assist with the X-Men against what he perceives as rogue elements in the US Government, atacking US citizens instead of foreign threats, those contacts give him access and assistance at times.

Flaws

• Mental: As a result of the traumas of the Pusan Perimiter, Forge has developed mental illness that at times is debilitating.
• Physical: while his prosthetics are remarkable, they are not perfect, having been built by him in an intuitive way. They present a weakness that could be exploited or could fail.
