  • Mutant: Madelyne is a powerful mutant clone. She does not possess the full potential of the original mutant host — and never will, as the psychic trauma is too great for her to withstand. However, she possesses a formidable suite of powers in her own right as noted below.
  • Astral Presence: Madelyne can survive apart from her body for up to a week on the astral plane, even if her body is destroyed. She repossesses her cloned body without any effort and resumes living.
  • Telepathy: Madelyne's primary mutation makes her an Omega-level telepath restricted largely by a lack of experience and adequate training. Her telepathic abilities are strongest when concentrated upon perception or stealth. Camouflage is her forte, masking her mental signature, memories, and abilities from other telepaths. Projections allow her to change her perceived clothing or appearance, or creating invisibility against sentient minds who simply look past her, but not cameras and recording devices. Madelyne's innate talent for shielding repels mental attacks and reads. She detects psionic activity and other sentience around her with pinpoint accuracy within 500 yards. Her ability to manipulate other minds is somewhat clumsy and best performed at short range with temporary results, like causing a victim to fancy her or favour her suggestions. She can attempt mind control, unconscious suggestions, hypnosis, and emotional manipulation but unwilling targets make it harder for her to work. She has the power of a sledgehammer but little finesse for scalpel work, so her mental attacks tend to be overwhelming, violent, and harsh. Madelyne can perform extremely precise feats with guidance from the Black Queen, Selene. Melding with other psychics allows her to use their expertise natively, and she can siphon their psionic power to bolster her own formidable abilities over a much broader range.
  • Telekinesis: Madelyne's secondary mutation manipulates unseen force around objects. Her personal use of telekinesis is quite fine-tuned to form hardened shields that resist physical attacks well. Her shields may freeze projectile weapons, like bullets, but high velocity impacts drain her heavily. She can slowly levitate herself and objects weighing up to one ton, and move up to half that at speeds of nearly 160mph. While she can lift and manipulate smaller objects, she doesn't have any fine control when handling a swarm. Her blasts mostly strike things over and do not display omnidirectional accuracy.
  • Goblin Force Manipulation: The Goblin Force is a demonic source of energy that Madelyne natively taps into. She can perform simple rituals that allow her to summon demons ("goblins" from Limbo and other planes), and command them to follow her requests. She gains a relative awareness for any demon in her line of sight. By commanding other summoned or free-range demons, Madelyne may be able to seize control over them. Powerful demons of any rank can shake off her influence. She isn't educated enough to be able to perform major mystical feats as yet.
